Good computer for studio work
Light, portable, long-lasting, fast, but hot in a bad way due to the intel chip. The screen is gorgeous and gives a lot of room for plugins (when you're not having scaling issues with windows). The built-in DAC is fairly high quality. Cooling can be an issue, as it is with most modern high-end intel laptops. The build quality is fair, it is metal so it feels nice, but the paint on the plastic bezel around the screen is chipping off, which feels somewhat cheap.

Must-Have
For the low, low price of FREE this bundle is a must-have. Mutility is great for automating fades when you don't want to automate your faders. Mfrequencyshifter is a fantastic fx plugin for transitions and drum tuning. Mequalizer is great for filtering and responds well to automation (at least better than apqualizr).

Fantastic, Cheap, Somewhat Irritating DAW
I really like FL Studio. The price is a lot cheaper than other DAWs to purchase the "full version" (technically producer edition, anything above that is a bundle of producer and additional plugins). The stock plugins are great, you get Sytrus, one of the most powerful FM synths and Maximus, one of the most powerful compressors. That said, it grates on me. There are so many things that just take more clicks, more time, and more effort than other daws due to how FL is designed. I've ended up switching to Cubase.

Guilty Pleasure
If I'm ever in need of a small reverb that doesn't take the foreground (unless I'm doing a gated snare), this is what I reach for. It's great to just have a good sounding reverb to use on hats, pads, and background elements without needing to (or being able to, for that matter) tweak many settings.

They are indeed headphones
Good monitoring headphones, they provide nice isolation and relatively good frequency response. The 100-200hz region is a bit dry, so it can cause you to mix in extra mud, and the MDR-7506s have better highs, but overall these headphones are not bad, all my mixdowns used go through them before release.
