Formed in Boston, Massachusetts, the band consists of Stacy Jones (vocals, guitar), Jamie Arentzen (guitar), Drew Parsons (bass), and Brian Nolan (drums). With roots in some of the 1990s' biggest alternative acts like Letters to Cleo and Veruca Salt, Stacy Jones brought his experience to American Hi-Fi, creating a sound that captures the spirit of early 2000s rock. Their debut album, released in 2001, featured the hit single "Flavor of the Weak," establishing them as a staple in the pop punk scene.
