HUM is an American alternative rock band hailing from Champaign, Illinois, celebrated for their dynamic blend of post-hardcore, space rock, slowcore, and shoegaze influences. The band is comprised of Matt Talbott (vocals, guitar), Tim Lash (guitar), Jeff Dimpsey (bass), and Bryan St. Pere (drums). Known for their expansive soundscapes and introspective lyrics, HUM rose to prominence in the 1990s and have maintained a cult following with their unique fusion of melodic riffs and atmospheric textures.
