How to Sound Like the GazettE
the GazettE’s sonic palette is marked by intense, distorted guitar riffs and dramatic, melodic lines, creating a soundscape that is both aggressive and atmospheric. Their music often features intricate guitar work, punctuated by the use of effects like those produced by a DigiTech Whammy for pitch-shifting and a Pro Co The Rat for gritty distortion. The rhythm section, anchored by REITA’s powerful bass lines, often employs a Tech 21 Sansamp PSA1.1 to achieve a robust, cutting tone. Collectively, these elements forge a sound that is both highly energetic and emotionally charged, embodying the dramatic essence of Visual kei.
