The Halo Benders are an eclectic indie rock group hailing from the Pacific Northwest, formed as a side project by Doug Martsch of Built to Spill and Calvin Johnson of Beat Happening. The band's lineup is a fusion of distinctive talents, featuring Martsch on guitar and vocals, Johnson with his deep baritone vocals, Wayne Rhino Flower on bass, and Ralf Youtz on drums, with additional contributions from producer Steve Fisk on keyboards.
