Vallenfyre is an English extreme metal band known for their intense and visceral soundscapes, incorporating elements of doom, death, and drone metal. Founded in 2010 by Gregor Mackintosh of Paradise Lost as a means to process personal loss, the group emerged from Halifax with a lineup including Hamish Glencross (guitar), Adrian Erlandsson (drums), and Scoot (bass). Vallenfyre's music is characterized by its raw aggression and emotional depth, as showcased in albums like The Fragile King, Splinters, and Fear Those Who Fear Him.
