Affordable polysynths

All my other synths are Mono, would love to have a juno 60 or something like that but this little beast is affordable and can do shitloads.

blueminds

Analog goodness

Dedicated Bass synth. Sometimes I patch it with the Mother 32 for extra weirdness.

blueminds

Only hardware synth

Analog bass for days. Semi Modular so I can get obsessed with that later.

Lush 80s Reverb

Bit harder to get to grips with than standard reverb plugins, time and settings and such. Tone is amazing though. Use on synths, guitars and vocals.

Bass clarity

These are mammoth monitors. Feel I need to be further away for the bass waveforms to reach my ears. Was mixing on 4 inch KRK VXT's before. The clarity of the low end information is so much better.

definitely more mid-field than near-field... and 4"? that's 'direct-field monitoring"... try backing everything up but the Tannoys, you may need speaker stands and logner cables to pull this off.

Best daw- Great impovements on Live 9

Ableton is my go to DAW, hands down. You can do anything on it. Logic is a pain in comparison. Love the new echo delay and drum buss compressor. Seems faster than live 9.

Version: Ableton Live 10

Great but very cpu intensive

Such nice analog sound for a soft synth. Presets are dope. Only downside is the cpu weight of it

blueminds

Weighted keys are so much better.

Upgraded from the s61 because I hated the feel of the keys. Couldn't get a natural piano feel. S88 fixed that. It's pretty big though.

Great improvements

Best improvements are in the sampler and simpler options to covert. Live sample pad chopping also makes it very useful. Much nicer interface than the previous black and orange akai screen.

Fine for live prefomance dynamic mic use

I guess it is industry standard. Wouldn't use it for recording unless i had to.

Just got iris 2, great for making weird ass noises

Seems like one of those plugin synths that you could loose days playing with

blueminds

great for vocals and harmony

works like magic to add character to your vocal

easy mastering

Good tool, saves money in the long run and lets you have complete control over your music.

Still getting to grips with it

I get some intresting sounds by micing up my acoustic guitar with an sm57 and playing with the delays/reverbs.

Great synth

great pads, great leads, great bass, great everything.

blueminds

Good headphones but prefer the Krk 8400s

I use them for general everyday use, they seem to be pretty rugged.

blueminds

Industry standard

Massive, Kontakt, battery, fm8- all amazing. My favorite by far is absynth for those strange, ambient sounds.

Two heavily modded

Got these modded by Turntable Pimp: Mk5 pitch faders and removal of quarz lock Respray of tonearm base and deck case to Matte Black Internal Grounds Upgraded RCA cables Got the original Mk2 tonearms (one dating back to '82) with Ortofon Dj S cartridges and stylus. Great for scratching, sampling. Anything.

Modded, sounds better than most gibsons

Changed the pickups to Seymour duncan JB in the Bridge and Jazz in the Neck. Locking Tuners, Repainted black, with Gibson Pots and bridges.
