Bass clarity

These are mammoth monitors. Feel I need to be further away for the bass waveforms to reach my ears. Was mixing on 4 inch KRK VXT's before. The clarity of the low end information is so much better.

jimmarchi1

definitely more mid-field than near-field... and 4"? that's 'direct-field monitoring"... try backing everything up but the Tannoys, you may need speaker stands and logner cables to pull this off.

Ehhh

I use these to hold up my table.. with that being said these were great a few years ago for acoustic music but i have no purpose for them now..

zircuitz

Nice for the price you pay.

Bought these last year, and I am fairly happy with them. The only problem I can find is that their frequency response is a little of. The low-mid range is kind of lacking and out of balance. I also wish they could have better response to frequencies below 50Hz
