There is a quality to the fender offsets that is distinctly guttural, somehow throaty and mid-range heavy, and I absolutely love it. Only complaints are those to expect of an offset, that stupid bridge. I know, I know, I keep up with MM Guitar Bar and I know there's a proper way to set it up, but I just can't get it right. So eventually I'll just get a mastery and everything will be great. And when I say everything I actually mean everything. This guitar is otherwise perfect. Pickups are duncan designed and the neck has a true Fender feel; the gloss is pristine, and the fingerboard is made from the most beautiful cut of rosewood I've ever seen. Bang for your buck? Absolutely. Above and beyond.

I use the red howler for a gritty vocal sound.
