BlueChip Picks is a pick manufacturer based in Tennessee, founded by Matthew Goins along with Allen Goins, Brian Phillips, Tyler Morris, and Shain Hansard. The company grew out of Blue Chip Machining, a precision CNC shop, after the team recognized that a self-lubricating aerospace-grade composite they were cutting for industrial clients had unusual properties well-suited to plectrums. Though the picks themselves are brown, not blue, the brand takes its name from the parent machine shop.

The lineup is built around flatpicks for guitar, mandolin, and dobro — including the TD, TP, TAD, and CT series — along with the jazz-profile IBJ55 and a range of banjo and guitar thumbpicks (the BCT line) that pair the composite tip with a laser-cut stainless steel band.
