Bolin Guitars is a custom guitar and bass builder based in Boise, Idaho, founded by John Bolin in 1978. Operating out of a 6,500+ square foot workshop, the company hand-builds instruments for professional musicians, with John's son Jake joining the business as an apprentice in 2001 and later becoming a partner. Jake also spent time as a touring guitar tech, including stints with Taylor Swift and The Steve Miller Band.

The brand is best known for bespoke electric guitars and basses built to artist specifications, often featuring hot-rod-inspired finishes and distinctive one-off designs. Signature builds have included the Steve Miller model, a rosewood-and-abalone acoustic made for Lyle Lovett, and a modernized take on the 1961 Gibson SG built for Billy Gibbons.
