Digital Audio Labs is a pro audio, live sound, and broadcast electronics company based in Chanhassen, Minnesota. Founded in the late 1980s, the company built its early reputation on PC-based digital audio interfaces like the CardD, CardDeluxe, and V8 multitrack system, which became fixtures in broadcast and data acquisition work.
The company is best known today for its Livemix personal monitoring systems, used widely in houses of worship and live performance environments. The Livemix line includes the CS-DUO and CS personal mixers, the MIX-16 and MIX-32 mixer engines, and Livemix Pro, a scalable Dante-networked system offering 16, 32, 48, or 64 channels at 96 kHz with a group mix mode. The belt-pack-sized DPM2 and DPM4 Dante personal mixers extend the platform to smaller rigs. MirrorMix is a proprietary feature that lets an engineer dial in monitor mixes remotely from the front-of-house position.
In addition to its own Livemix brand, Digital Audio Labs acquired boutique outboard maker LaChapell Audio, adding tube preamps and channel strips to its lineup, and offers OEM and ODM design and manufacturing services for other audio brands.
Digital Audio Labs has 7 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Mixers and Digital.
