Flattley Guitar Pedals is a family-run boutique effects manufacturer founded in 2016 by Paul Flattley, a former Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm avionics technician who spent over three decades in civil aviation before applying that engineering background to pedal building. The company is based in England, with PCB design, paint, and printing work handled in Gloucestershire, and each pedal is hand-built and hand-wired in-house. Graphics for the line are designed by Paul's daughter, Phoebe Flattley.
The range is split into the Platinum and Silver series and covers overdrive, fuzz, boost, modulation, delay, and wah effects for both guitar and bass. Signature models include the Revolution — a three-in-one dynamic overdrive that won Guitarist Magazine's Choice award in August 2021 and Gear of the Year in January 2022 — along with the Centurion and Silver Centurion Klon-style transparent overdrives, the Valkyrie chorus, the Nirvana analogue delay, the Star Fazer phaser, the DG Fuzz, and the Outlaw, a dual pedal pairing a clean boost with a FET-voiced overdrive. The Joker, a FET-based overdrive, was introduced at NAMM 2026.
Flattley focuses exclusively on analogue circuits and emphasizes low-noise performance aimed at recording use. Pedals are sold direct through the brand's own site and through UK retailers including Andertons and Ivor Mairants Musicentre.
