Hafler is an American audio electronics brand founded by engineer David Hafler in 1977 in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Before launching the company bearing his name, Hafler had already shaped the hi-fi industry through Acrosound and Dynaco, and he brought the same kit-and-assembled approach to his new venture. The first products were the DH-101 preamplifier and the DH-200 power amplifier — notable as one of the first American production amplifiers to use a complementary MOSFET output stage — followed by the higher-powered DH-500, which found a home in studios and live rigs as well as listening rooms.

Over the years the lineup expanded beyond consumer hi-fi into professional audio, with products such as the P1000 Trans-Ana rack power amplifier and the TRM-series active nearfield studio monitors (TRM6, TRM8, TRM8.1). These pro products centered on Hafler's Trans•Nova and Trans-Ana MOSFET topologies, aimed at low-distortion, neutral reproduction for mixing and mastering work. The Hafler Company was sold to the Rockford Corporation in 1987, and the brand was later acquired by Canadian pro-audio manufacturer Radial Engineering in 2014.

While better known among hi-fi enthusiasts and recording engineers than as a stage gear brand, Hafler's power amplifiers and reference monitors have been used in home studios, broadcast facilities, and post-production rooms, and vintage units like the DH-200 and DH-500 retain a following in the DIY audio community.

Hafler has 7 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Power Amplifiers, Guitar Preamps, and Active & Passive Monitors. Their gear is featured by 6 artists, with the strongest followings in Rock, Metal, and Electronic. Notable users include Dave Mustaine, Joe Satriani, and Moby.
