LsL Instruments is a boutique guitar and bass builder based in Southern California, founded in 2008 by husband-and-wife team Lance and Lisa Lerman. The company started in the Lermans' garage after Lance — a veteran of Saga Musical Instruments and founder of the earlier D&L Instruments — returned to California from managing guitar manufacturing overseas. The first model, the T-Bone, came out of Lance's attempt to build the '52-style blackguard Telecaster he couldn't find on the vintage market, and word-of-mouth from local players turned it into a brand.

LsL builds bolt-neck electrics and basses by hand in Santa Clarita, blending vintage-style construction (lightly aged finishes, reclaimed and old-growth timbers, hand-wound pickups) with modern playability spec options. The catalog centers on T-style and S-style designs — the T-Bone, Bad Bone, Thin Bone, Soledad, Saticoy, XT, and Silverlake offset — along with baritones and basses. The company also produces its own Revival Pickups and a small line of pedals. Signature models have been developed with Ray Parker Jr., Marcos Curiel of P.O.D., session guitarist Carl Verheyen (the CV Special), and Toby Friesen of Jeremy Camp's band, among others.
