Nik Huber Guitars is a boutique electric guitar maker based in Rodgau, Germany, about 20 km south of Frankfurt. Nik Huber began building guitars in 1993 and founded the company in 1996, drawing on a family background in the wood trade that reaches back to the late 1800s. Huber was mentored early on by Paul Reed Smith, and the shop's output reflects that influence — carefully figured tops, meticulous finishing, and a small-batch approach that yields only a few hundred instruments per year from a team of luthiers working largely by hand.

The catalog centers on original designs alongside takes on classic single-cut and bolt-on formats. Models include the Dolphin and Dolphin '59, the Orca and Krautster single-cuts, the Piet, Redwood, Surfmeister, Twangmeister, and Rietbergen, as well as custom builds. The Krautster and Orca are often compared to Les Paul–style instruments, while the Dolphin, Twangmeister, and Rietbergen sit closer to Telecaster territory. The company also offers a bass option and frequently produces one-off instruments with highly figured tonewoods.

Nik Huber instruments have a reputation in the boutique and collector market for build quality and tone, and have been used by players including Nate Mendel of Foo Fighters, Michael League of Snarky Puppy, and James Johnston of Biffy Clyro.
