Its best-known products are the MB33 and later MB33 Retro, a Roland TB-303-style monophonic bass synthesizer expander; the ADX-1, a five-voice analog percussion synthesizer often compared to the Vermona DRM-1; the VF-11 vocoder; and the SQ16 step sequencer. The ADX-1 in particular has remained a sought-after piece on the used market thanks to its all-analog drum voices and dense per-voice knob layout.

MAM was eventually absorbed by German computer-audio company Terratec, after which most of the original MAM product line was discontinued. The MB33 Retro reissue brought the bass synth back in a compact desktop form factor, but the brand's catalog has remained limited compared to its 1990s peak.
