Maselec is a line of high-end analog mastering and recording processors designed by Swedish engineer and producer Leif Mases, whose credits include work with ABBA, Led Zeppelin, Jeff Beck, and Black Sabbath, and who co-owned Polar Studios and London's Marcus Studios. Mases first gained recognition in pro audio circles for the Maselec 9001 retrofit equalizer for SSL 4000 consoles, and later partnered with UK-based Prism Sound to manufacture and distribute the Maselec Master Series.

The range centers on precision analog outboard aimed at mastering engineers and high-end tracking studios.
