Manson Guitar Works is a British guitar manufacturer based in Ashburton, Devon, England. The company traces its roots to the 1960s, when Andy Manson began building acoustic guitars, but the electric guitar side of the business was established by his younger brother Hugh Manson in the 1970s. Hugh opened Manson's Guitar Shop in 1992 alongside Adrian Ashton and Jay Henson, and Manson Guitar Works later became its own entity focused on building custom and production electric guitars and basses. The company is known for integrating unconventional electronics and technology into its instruments, including MIDI controllers, built-in effects, and LED systems.
