Rega Research is a British hi-fi manufacturer founded in 1973 by Roy Gandy and Tony Relph (the company name combines their initials), based in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England. The company built its reputation on belt-drive turntables, tonearms, and moving-magnet/moving-coil cartridges, and has expanded over the decades into amplifiers, phono stages, CD players, DACs, and loudspeakers.
