In this hefty blog post, Andrew discusses his essentials for the home studio. The first item on the list is the SM7B. Andrew says, "I bought this mic before going abroad because a friend of mine was raving about it - in particular, how it was better than anything else at picking up what was in front of it without a lot of ambience from the room. As mentioned in this old Tape Op interview, Andrew Huang has used an AT4040 as his "weapon of choice" in the past. It's visible in many of his older videos, too.

In 1:24 in this Video you can see Andrew Huang tuning a Ibanez Talman tv650 Electric Guitar. You can see this guitar clearly at 3:12.

At 0:41 and at 1:50 Andrew can be seen playing a natural SG Special. Boyinaband can also be seen playing this guitar at 0:49.

Andrew uses this electric guitar often. One of the videos it is present is on "Making a Song in 59 Minutes" around the 5:00 mark.

He can be seen playing this at 1:28. It's red, Boyinaband can also be seen playing this guitar in several other sections of the song, specifically the "Viking Metal" and "Emo" sections. Andrew can also be seen playing this in the "Math Metal" section, clearest at 1:42.
