RS Guitarworks is a custom guitar shop based in Winchester, Kentucky, founded by Roy Bowen and Scott Leedy — the "R" and "S" in the name. Bowen had been building guitars in the area since the mid-1990s when the two met after Leedy came in for a paint job; the partnership grew out of a basement operation into a shop on Winn Avenue that produces a small number of custom instruments per year alongside a busy restoration and parts business.

The company is known for its Slab, Contour, Surfmaster, and Blaze series guitars, along with Contour basses and limited runs such as the P-Byrd. RS also makes its own line of pickups — including the Kentucky Burst PAF, Kentucky Fat Daddy for Strat-style guitars, NashVegas for Tele-style guitars, and the Shredder humbucker — and sells pre-wired vintage upgrade kits, bodies, and hardware through its online store. The shop is particularly associated with aged and relic finishes, which it helped popularize, and with repair work on vintage and damaged instruments.
