Wire Instruments is a small-batch builder of handcrafted electric guitars and basses founded by Earnie Bailey, a Southern California native who builds out of the Pacific Northwest. Bailey spent years as a guitar technician for Nirvana and the Foo Fighters, and his instruments reflect that background — each one is built individually, drawing on vintage design references while incorporating modern construction and hardware choices.

Instruments are assembled from components by makers such as TonePros, Schaller, Seymour Duncan, and Hipshot, and the shop's output includes offset-inspired models alongside other original guitar and bass designs.
