I have 3 of them and I want more
I bought them at a pawn shop and they're the first picks that I truly love. They're the ones I use if they're not lost... I need to by more.
These are the only string I use
The low strings EAD are made out of the normal nickel but the high strings GBE are the RPS string. They're strong, sharp, and last longer than the nickel strings even though the high strings have more tension.
Don'ty know what I want to do with it.
I only bought it for $15. Any tips on what to do with it and how to use it would greatly be appreciated.
My second go to Pedal
It sounds great if your song is entirely overdrive. Sound great if your song is soft and your solos is overdrive. For me my Van Halen Phase and this overdrive is all I need.
Great sound, I just don't know what I want to do with it.
The Octave and Fuzz feature can get a little messy and have two separate Octave and Fuzz pedals can give you wider effect capabilities but this gives you what you need in one package. Can sound really amazing and sound pretty terrible but that only because it gives you enough effect to become terrible. If a pedal doesn't sound terrible if you crank it up all the way, you have a week pedal.
My first pedal and my go to pedal
If the picture shown is 12 o'clock, then I keep my phase at 1 o'clock. This is my go to pedals for solos. I have nothing to say about this pedal other than amazing. I wish I can describe it but just get it...
Could be 5 stars if I used it more
For me there is always a learning period with effect pedals and trying to figure out what to do with it. A Wah Wah is pretty straightforward but I'm just not entirely a Wah Wah person. Believe me, I've seen people that can't get off the wah wah. I do plan to use it more in the future. Like I've said, this could be 5 stars for me.
Don't take my review seriously
I have owned this pedal for a long time and never really sat down and tried to figure out what I would want to do with it. Another question that I have is, how am I suppose to us this correctly. I've never came across what I would want to use this sound for in my personal playing. What I do say is, it has a strong, distinct sound and it's great to do Van Halen covers. I do recommend trying it out and if you have ideas for me, let me know.
