Great retro sounds, interesting vocoding

I have found some great use in retro sounds as well as exceptionally powerful 808s. It's great fun to play with, and the vocoder also has some interesting applications. Whilst the preamp for the mic isn't very good so I'm unable to use my quieter dynamics, I've had some interesting uses routing a guitar pickup and having friends play video games and routing the audio through the vocoder.

Really gives stuff an "oomph"

I use this for kicks when I want to add more meat, and also for hyper-exaggerating a sub frequency in pre-bounced tracks.

Such beautiful vocal processing, along with some great strings and piano processors. Very simple, beautiful layout, incredible output.

Such a great mastering compressor, combined with a good saturator gives a real nice finish to the track.

My favourite Verb engine

My absolute favourite reverb engine. Very simple, very nice sounding.

Perfect Strings

Love the strings on this synth, also enjoy the piano and the flutes, though I've yet to find a use for the flutes.

My most used synth. For subs

Brilliantly simple and hyper-processor efficient, I use this synth for all my subs and basic / simple waveforms.

Very powerful

Very powerful wavetable/fm hybrid. Makes some awesome noises.

Love the DAW

Love this DAW, will probably stick to image line, easy work flow and very steady learning curve with tonnes of cool features and shortcuts.

a generic USB Keyboard. Nothing special

Nothing special about this keyboard, no cool features, no mod wheel, no pitch wheel, just used for playing around with notes to see what works. Alright value for money but nothing game changing.

Excellent low mid and high mid definition

Excellent reproduction of low mids and high mids, very accurate sound, light on the head, super comfy, overall excellent pair of headphones but very VERY low sub responce.

Excellent low end definition, great sound to cost ratio, lacks some mid and high definition but overall a decent pair of headphones for electronic music production.

Best Budget mic

One of the best budget mics I've used. Beautiful low end when recording up close on the rear of the cardiod pick up. Worth every penny.

Decent but go 2i2 or higher.

I bought this due to the minor cost difference between the Solo and 2i2, and I've gotta say, very impressed minus some VERY minor stability issues.

I'd recommend getting the 2i2 or higher though as the port ins and outs are very low and the rca out is horrible. I'd also recommend the clarett series if you want to spend more.
