The first orchestral VST i ever used.
It may have some of the JV1080 Orchestral sounds, but i tend to use it for percussion and woodwinds and brass just in case i don't feel like recording anything with jv1080. There some rare cases where i use the strings and keyboard and percussion sounds.
Overall it good for musicians who want to make orchestral music in there early start.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
I really like the percussion kit in this one, mainly it has all of the punchy orch sounds you need in your track.
The strings can be okay at times too, through not as expressive to the ones we hear in spitfire.
But they can sound decent when used right.

I sympho-need to upgrade, but this will do for now.
I use this to do the string sections of my songs - I'll rarely use it to do more than that, as the brass leaves much to be desired, but the percussion and woodwinds are okay. Once i get a better processor, I might upgrade to something better, but right now it gets the job done.

Good Orchestral Set for Starters
This is a good set of orchestral samples pulled from the Roland JV1080, but they will require some EQing to get a brighter sound. Great for starters, but when compared to East West and Kontakt libraries, it is lacking in quality and realism.

A decent orchestral plugin
Along with the Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra soundfont, this is what I use with my orchestral sounds. Still saving up for Eastwest libraries, but this is pretty good for now.

Most of the orchestra here uses Edirol Orchestra except for the violin in the intro and the violin detaches at 1:23.
"I use Battery quite a lot for my drums. I like the Model E, I like the Arturia stuff, that's really nice. For the fourth track on the album ['Huis Clos'], I used [Edirol's] Orchestral for the piano. What else do I like? Absynth of course and the Waldorf and the FM7. Lounge Lizard has great Rhodes and stuff like that."
In the description of the YouTube video, he clearly states he uses EDRIOL orchestral.
