It does what it advertises for a great price.
This is definitely the most cost effective loadbox I've found with some very useful features that can come in handy. Going DI opens up the possibility to use any impulse response you'd like. I recommend getting this 8 ohm model, as it will work with most amps on the market.

This is my holy grail.
I've been wanting to get a 27 inch 7 string Ibanez since I started playing in 2013. Now I have one and it doesn't disappoint one bit. This is now my main workhorse and it takes everything I throw at it. The stock pickups, which are DiMarzio Fusion Edge 7's sound surprisingly good for prog stuff.

Just get them already.
For its price, the build quality and sound quality is way better than anything I have owned before. Whether it be gaming, listening to music, producing music or watching videos, you will be pleased. The pads are also comfortable enough for me, I can wear these for about 6 hours in one sitting before my ears start hurting, this is different for everybody though.

Considering its price, a big win.
The fact Ibanez was able to make a good, playable 7 string for this price, just shows how good they are when it comes to planning their production lines. The pickups are lacking in the cleans, but surprisingly good and responsive with distortion. I would not recommend downtuning below drop A, there after the tone will suffer. My only problem with these guitars is the bridge. It's fixed and stable, but mine has a tendency to eat through the strings at the saddles. Expect to be replacing your strings qutie often if you pick as hard as I do. Overall a great guitar for its price.

Sick guitar.
Even though mine is modded with a Dimarzio D-Activator X in the bridge and a Dimarzio PAF Pro in the neck, and a Tremol-no, it is insane how stable these guitars are. Mine is a 2006 model, Mirage Red. You can throw just about anything at these guitars, they'll take the hit for you.

Absolutely banger!
Bought this guitar brand new, and it's absolutely beautiful in both sound and looks. The Bare Knuckle Aftermath 7's give you the option to play with super nice and smooth cleans, or to get down and dirty with a super heavy distorted tone. Whichever way you decide to go, clarity is a constant with these pickups. The coil tap on this guitar just serves to give you even more tonal possibilities, and these pickups do perform great while coil tapped. The neck has a drop dead gorgeous piece of ebony for fretboard, and the neck itself is a bolt on 3 piece maple/bubinga neck. As with any Ibanez, the neck is super slim and matte for comfortable playing. The neck hardly moves, it's been dead on and rock stable for me while experimenting with plenty of different tunings. This guitar is definitely a good workhorse for anyone looking for a decent 25,5 inch 7 string!

OK for the average joe.
I've had the POD HD Pro X for about 1,5 years at the time of writing this review, so I've had plenty of time to evaluate all of its features. It's really good for the average guitarist who wants to practise at home. For recording, you can get a good tone out of it if you plan on playing clean or slightly crunchy tones. The POD HD Pro X lacks in the high gain department, it's difficult to get good clear tones that aren't muddy. The low end is way too present, which can result in a headache inducing bass thump with every palm mute. This problem can be resolved if you decide to disable the built in amp sim and run your dry signal to a power amp, to then power a real cab. The extra DSP compared to the non-X devices does help if you're a fan of dual chaining your signal, you won't feel limited any time soon. The plenty of amp sims give you a very nice indication of what gear you may want to get the 'real' version of. There for, I think the POD HD Pro X is definitely a good purchase for those who want a good, above average tone for a very competitive price.
