Ibanez RG 2027XL Prestige Guitar – MusicPlayers.com

musicplayers.com

The Ibanez RG2027XL is a formidable seven-string shredder that excels in both playability and sound. With its 27” scale length, players can explore deeper tunings without sacrificing string tension, making it a great tool for modern metal. The custom DiMarzio pickups deliver rich, growling tones and articulate cleans, proving versatile across genres. However, the adjustment to the longer neck might be challenging for those used to standard scales, and some may prefer a different tremolo arm design. Despite these quirks, the stunning aesthetics and quality craftsmanship make it a worthy investment for serious guitarists, especially at its price point. A must-try for those seeking an extended range guitar!

This is my holy grail.

I've been wanting to get a 27 inch 7 string Ibanez since I started playing in 2013. Now I have one and it doesn't disappoint one bit. This is now my main workhorse and it takes everything I throw at it. The stock pickups, which are DiMarzio Fusion Edge 7's sound surprisingly good for prog stuff.
