the reissue is not so great turned up for some reason, but originals are much better cranked, although they're speaker dependent like all blackface fenders, if you have an original with a stock Jensen or with the shitty stock Utah or Oxford swapped for a decent celestion you can get a pretty good crunch... you should look at the brownface amps, no reverb, but much better when cranked and to ym ear they have fenders best clean tone.

I think the one I have is a reissue. No wonder it sounds like a wasp in a jar.

I returned a few reissues. They all rattled like glass no matter what. This one, the 68 and the new 68 Custom Pro Reverb. Took some to a Fender tech and he sighted the cheap sockets on the 6v6, and rattling chases. It’s best to get an old used one….or in my case I grabbed a Tone King Imperial. I had no intention of going that high with money. But all the reissues were like one person put it..”sounded like a wasp”. Didn’t want to track down used, and spend time into a tech either. Just frustrated after a month of reissue returns, and seeing Fender Techs. At least they were honest!

I'm running out of adjectives to describe this godly specimen.
This is one of those pedals that nobody knows of. I bought it only because the Boss CE-5 (the one I wanted) was too expensive. I use it for solos. It actually works really well on a high gain setting, so you metal guitarists better check this out.

Not as good as I expected
After I found out that my favourite acoustic was made by Yamaha, I decided to try out some of their electrics. This guitar is really chunky, and as a result has a chunky sound. This is good, but is nothing compared to my acoustic. Sorry, Yamaha, it has to be said...

I love it
When I'm not abusing my Rocktron Piranha that's run through some Marshall 9200 power amps, I'm using this. It has a fantastic distortion tone as well as a killer clean tone. I love this amp and if you want a good punk sound without using Dual-Rectifiers or Diezels, this is your best option.

Wow.
I never thought that a company like Yamaha could make such a beautiful acoustic. Stays in tune well, plays well, light (even for an acoustic) and no fiddling about with straps and tuning pegs. When I first strummed this, I just thought, "Damn." The overall beauty of this guitar cannot overshadow any other one of my axes. 10/10.

I have this on my pedalboard and use it as a Booster for a lot of my pedals. I heard Tom Morello uses it as a booster on his so I thought why not & it works!!

Nice tone, but hefty price for a company like Dunlop
In order to get the amazing octave-fuzz sound used by the likes of Dan Auerbach, Jimi Hendrix and Slash, this pedal is one of the only options (which also includes the MXR La Machine and Morley Fuzz Wah). Very pricey, but you won't regret spending your money on this.
