ok kind of a lie
I have a mexican strat (maple instead of rosewood) w/ hot rail pickup in the mid position. this is the only thing that looks like mine tho.

wait wait, you mean recent marshalls, right? not some of the grand old gentlemen of the Marshall line like the various superleads, JCM800 single channels or the mighty Silver Jubilee? And you think it hangs with a tweed/brown type of deluxe or the cleaner, more scooped deluxe reverb? I'm not trashing this amp, I rather like this whole series as a great ajck of all trades stage solution, but you made some bold assertions.
