JBL doesn't dissapoint
Picked these up on-sale for home-producing and they totally deliver! Clean mix, great sound. They're a bit soft on the low end but that's nothing an additional sub couldn't thicken out. For their price, I haven't been able to find a better pair of studio monitors.

Just as good as Serato
It's the great debate, which is better, Traktor vs. Serato? I can't tell you the other side of things as I've never been a Serato user but Traktor gets the job done, and nicely! The UI is clean and easy to navigate and can be customized in all sorts of ways to suit your style of DJing. It comes fully loaded with all the features you could ask for including 8 custom cue points per deck, 30+ effects, 4 individual FX units, loop recorder, the ability to adjust the colour of your wave forms, and that's just scratching the surface.

The centre-piece of my setup
Without the Traktor Scratch A-6 my rig would be absolutely useless. This interface provides me with the ability to run time-coded vinyl so I get the feel of traditional DJing while still being able to access and play songs from my iTunes library. This was a defining factor for me when making the switch from an all-in-one controller. The interface's sound quality and responsiveness ensures you get the best listening experience for any situation whether you're mixing and scratching in Traktor or using the direct-thru function to listen to actual vinyl. Both sound amazing!!

Must-have for Traktor users
If you're a Traktor user you should have the X1. This controller makes it so much easier to access your FX decks, looping & cueing, and track selection from your library. Adding this to your setup will ensure that you no longer need to even touch your mouse and keyboard during a set. It functions off of a single USB port, is very light, compact and easy to carry.

Gets the job done
If you're looking for a basic and affordable, 2-channel mixer, the DJM-250 is a great choice for someone just starting out. With this mixer you get the standard low/mid/high EQ knobs for each channel along with a dedicated hi/lo-pass filter. You also have access to a separate mic and auxiliary channels which are great for connecting to external audio sources. The design is clean and easy to navigate, everything feels like it's where it should be without any extras cluttering up the interface.

High-Torque, Great Sound and Amazing Tracking
If you're looking for a comparable alternative to Technic-1200's, the Stanton Str8-150's are your go to turntables. One of the nicest things about them is that they come loaded with an industry standard, Stanton 680.v3 cartridge which delivers high-quality sound for any club DJ that's looking to get the most out of their tracks right out of the gate. They also have a direct drive motor which delivers a tonne of torque and is perfect for back-cueing and scratching. For anyone who is skeptical about not using an S-shaped tone arm, believe it or not, the straight tone arm is super stable so I never have issues with tracking. Although you have to invest quite a bit of money up front (approx. $600 each) the return on your investment will be exponential. They come fully loaded with all the features pro DJs look for in a turntable and their heavy duty steel construction makes sure they are built to last.
