Great for the beginner...

I love this audio interface. I think it's perfect for someone like me, who is just a couple years into my audio production work. However, as with all hardware & software, I do have a gripe or two. The main one is that outputs 3 & 4 are not monitored. I wanted to hook up a DJ controller to my inputs and then be able to monitor the DJ controller thought my 3/4 outputs, but that is not a possibility. I found a different way of hooking up my controller and everything works fine through Traktor, but it would have been nice to have it the way I originally wanted.

The centre-piece of my setup

Without the Traktor Scratch A-6 my rig would be absolutely useless. This interface provides me with the ability to run time-coded vinyl so I get the feel of traditional DJing while still being able to access and play songs from my iTunes library. This was a defining factor for me when making the switch from an all-in-one controller. The interface's sound quality and responsiveness ensures you get the best listening experience for any situation whether you're mixing and scratching in Traktor or using the direct-thru function to listen to actual vinyl. Both sound amazing!!

Excellent interface; very fluid to mixer controls and easy to use. I can hook up to any setup in seconds.

Best for timecode use

I bought it as my first audio interface ever, and it does pretty well. It runs with ASIO with Ableton, but when running Windows operated stuff, like youtube, media player etc. it's a bit unreliable. It's some kind of driver error.
