I bought this because my old monitor is too small for music production.This display is a really dope display just like LG 34UC88-b, they're both 21:9 and 3440x1440, but this one have DisplayPort/hdmi/usb type-c. And I use minidp to DisplayPort adaptor to connect it to my MacBook Pro!
The biggest help is the view of your project, you can see more tracks and details, and open much more plugins on this screen:) At this resolution, my MacBook Pro can running LogicProX smoothly!You don't need to care about the preference of graphics.
Making good track need many plugins and production resource. I use this for my music files such as projects\demos. This station can also be your home video\music server. The most important function is you can download\upload your files wherever you are! So when I leave my studio for some reason and I need a import file immediately, I just need to open my Mac and through internet to find them! It's more safer than net disk!!
When I bought this keyboard in the end of 2016, I finally feel the power of logicprox!As a piano player, I can't make melody and chords with mouse and computer keyboard! So everything start after I bought this, it's really benefit for beginner, and it also have different connection types, for iPhone/ipad & Mac. I can take it out easily with my MacBook Pro 13.3,and producing everywhere:)
I bought this mpg mini for my travel! I just produce everywhere and I need a small keyboard to input midi signal. Mpk mini is a really nice product for me. It not only have keyboard but also have drum pads and knobs. So with this little keyboard I can produce easily and quickly at the outside of studio!
It's hard to making beats with keyboard, but with this, you can make beats easily and quickly than mouse. This drum pad is really cool, even though it didn't't have led pads, but I think it can use longer than other drum pads.
During the time of beginning, I use apple EarPods and JBL Pebbles as my monitor, but there're always some delay exist. So I decided to change a studio monitor just like KRK Systems. Then I buy UR242 with my KRK Rokit5, they're working really well in my studio!!

I have a moment to switch to Ableton from Logic, but I failed. Ableton have a powerful audio engine to flex audio and a nice folder to manage your resource. So now I use Logic and Ableton together to improve my workflow:)
I start to produce with Garage Band, And then switch to LogicProX. It has a highly support with MacOS. So I can't turn my main daw to Ableton or Fury Loops. LogicProX have many usable function such as flex mode in 10.3.3. But the folder of LogicProX is a little problem...So now I use LogicProX and Ableton together, Logic for main production and Ableton for my resource folder!

Once I start to making EDM, I found there're many EDM tracks have vocals. So I bought this for my track's vocal! it working stable with UR242, but I have the most important question after bought this microphone----It's really hard to find a good singer orz.....
I bought a pair of Rokit 5 with UR242, they really give me a good inspiration and clean sounds to produce, without them, I can do my harmonic mixing well.....!
This Mac is my first Mac to trying music production!And it work very well!It's easy to take away and let me have ability to producer anywhere!
But>< when I study more and more technics, and creative more and more tracks, this Mac's CPU just running out quickly, because of I use lot of synthesizer and plugin for my new demo, so I have to bounce it after I finish the editing, that's the reason I give four star for this Mac!
I bought this for gaming about three years ago. But when I use this mouse start to making music, I found this mouse can make my workflow quickly than Apple Magic Mouse! And the LED is super dope!
All in all, this's a good mouse for music production:)
It's not only a keyboard but also a controller! Thanks to Native Instruments, it can work very well with LogicProX and Ableton on my Mac! The touch feeling totally different with iRig Kyes Pro!! And the Komplete 11 Select is very useful for production!Love it:)
