Excellent for the money

I use these heavily as both my go to headphones and as IEMs, I play live a lot and have tried the SE846s and these certainly don’t fall down. These are warm and give you all the right sounds in the right places, there not as broad as more upscale IEMs but outstanding for the price. The bases are clear and the heighs are smooth rather than sharp, I highly recommend. The fit is excellent as we’ll the memory foam earbuds are very comfy in the ear and give good isolation.

OK FOR LISTENING

Very great for a listening experience, but it is really hard to mix the higher end with them since you cannot hear them properly.

I've been using the Shure SE 215s for almost two years now, and they are by far my favorite set of headphones I've ever used for casual listening because they make my music sound fun while still retaining a healthy amount of detail. I fall asleep with them in almost every night because of their incredibly comfortable fit. However, as stage monitors I find they do better than almost anything else I've ever used. The SE 215s have a more bassy sound than most prefer, but I often find the output of most IEM packs and Avioms to be very bright for my ears, so they counteract that quite well. Especially when I'm playing bass or drums and need a little more of the rhythm section, they more than serve their purpose. They shine on vocals with their dry, warm mids, and they easily take the case for best $100 IEMs. In fact, they might even be better than other higher-priced models from Shure depending on your taste. If you like something warm and smooth yet still detailed, these are your first and only stop.

I have had TWO pairs of these. They are great and I have even used them to produce, master and, of course, live performing. Totally recommend it... if you consider that my next point is not a problem for you:

OBSOLESCENCE: I've had 2 pairs of these for a reason, and that is because BOTH OF THEM started cutting off on one side (and the other side right afterwards) like at the year and a half. Sometimes can be the cable, other times can be the sealed part that goes out in the cable. Whatever the reason, these guys put a specially programmed obsolescence on this pairs that make me want to not buy more after having 2 pairs already.

I'm not the only one who has had this trouble, but HUNDREDS or THOUSANDS customers around the world, and with the same unfixable issue. Google it.

Great on a noisy stage, when you want to hear details

I did my live sets using Sennheiser HD-280 headphones and had huge problems hearing the details, when playing in some very loud venues, where the bass on stage is overpowering everything and causes all kind of noisy vibrations. These monitors are able to block all this out. The only drawback is, that they block pretty much everything, so you won't hear much of the audience, either. So be aware, that using in-ear monitors may cause a disconnection between you and the audience. I've heard, that some artist, who use in-ear monitors, have an mic facing the audience, that they add to their monitoring mix. Bottom line: These monitors give you great control over your sound in live situations.

Only 105 euros for these little In-Ear heaphones. Great sound quality, great memory foam tips, great isolation.

Shure SE-215

These in ear monitors are simple,reliable and affordable. I use them for everything from playing on stage to listening in my room. For the price you can get them for, I highly recommend them.

Nice inears

A little too warm and compressed as for me, I'd like more sub 80hz and over 10000 frequencies, although great in ears

Good sounding, stay in place, good price.

My only issue is getting them in to start with, just a little clumsy. But they fit well once on, sound natural, isolate noise and solve my monitoring problems. I use them as wired IEMs with a Rolls PM50 splitter/amp.
