Holy mother of God, so much text... OK, I will do my best to answer all your questions.

http://equipboard.com/pros/grethe-jorgen-ingmann - those two are separate. Grethe is the sister, and Jorgen is the brother, as far as I know.

According to Wikipedia, Grethe is the wife. Either way, they need to be seperated. Mods should delete it.

http://equipboard.com/items/gibson-es335 - I'm really not sure if this should be kept. There are many more and better examples of Gibson ES-335 product on Equipboard.

Marked as a duplicate submission. Basic rule here: If you find an item like a Fender 1963 Stratocaster Surf Pink, then write "(Duplicate)" after the name and go here.

http://equipboard.com/pros/eddie-van-halen/the-frankenstrat - I'm not sure if anything on this page is right, however, I'm unsure. The item person submitted is still right. But I'm not sure if that guy knows what open tunings are.

This guy is everywhere and he seriously pisses me off. I've been polite and told him about improving his submissions, but he continues to make a mockery of this site. He hasn't replied to a SINGLE COMMENT I'VE MADE. He never has a good source to back up anything. Anyways, mark those as incorrect, but I haven't any knowledge on Frankenstrats.

http://equipboard.com/pros/eddie-van-halen - There is no source for MXR EVH90 pedal. It would be nice if this bug would be fixed. It would allow the people to add the sources to items that don't have one (or just destroy the submission with critiques like Angelina Jolie's new movie was haha).

Agreed, I think that those were the really early submissions where notes weren't existent. Mods'll probably fix it later.

http://equipboard.com/pros/dave-grohl/martin-d-28 - I'm still in doubt here. Is this really Martin D-28? Not sure, but this looks to me like Martin D-35.

It's a D-28. The D-35 has a white binding around the neck, and Grohl's acoustic doesn't appear to have that.

http://equipboard.com/pros/dave-grohl/tejava-iced-tea http://equipboard.com/pros/dave-grohl/spam-classic - It's obvious.

When you see these, mark them as incorrect and say why. I already did.

http://equipboard.com/pros/dave-grohl/dave-s-throne - I have no idea if this should be kept. It seems to me like a cute little idea, but if we are unmerciful with all the video games and stuff, should we delete this also?

Nope, it's the same as Spam. Read the comment I left.

http://equipboard.com/pros/nick-valensi-the-strokes - It is a crying shame to just look at his Equipboard. The same guitar is mentioned twice, no sources whatsoever...we need to change this!

http://equipboard.com/pros/john-mayer/#other-gear - Watches and sunglasses? I do not like these at all! Just like Eric Clapton's Equipboard. Unless they don't play badass pentatonic or lydian solos with them - I do not accept that as part of the gear.

Can't do anything here.

http://equipboard.com/pros/billie-joe-armstrong/#other-gear - Orange OR120 is amp head, Converse should be deleted ASAP (massive cringe over that), BBE Supa-Charger is just a power conditioner/power supply, and Gallien-Kruger is just an amp. I see no necessary "other gear".

You should know that you can edit these now. There's a button on all items that says "edit", that way mods can relax while you share a bit of the burden. I just fixed those for you.

http://equipboard.com/pros/noel-gallagher/#other-gear - 1. WEM Dominator MKIII is just a combo amp, nothing else. 2. And why is Neumann U67 listed under studio equipment? Just a microphone. 3. Just because someone made his pedalboard reconstruction, it does not necessary mean it is right. Boss DD-7, MXR Dyna Comp, Boss TR-2, Boss HR-2, Ibanez TS808 and other pedals which show the reconstruction should be deleted immediatly.

Amp's fixed. Mic needed categorising, done. You'll have to mark off those pedals yourself, because from my view, that looks correct. Tell them why it is incorrect and please, do not forget to select the quality rating as incorrect.

http://equipboard.com/pros/jimmy-page 1. I'm not sure if Sonic Wave Theremin is an effect pedal, is it? 2. Hiwatt Custom 100 Jimmy Page model is an amplifier, not a studio equipment. 3. Vintage Univox 6x12 cabinets confuse me. I would not list that as amplifier, but something different like cabinets? We need more detailed categories - although I admit if sorting out the effects pedals for the pro would be the bigger mess than the one I make when I have too much free time and WiFi connection.

Holy hell, I hate this artist page because it was such crap before. Had to do a whole renovation on it. I don't know what exactly those Theremin things are... And yes, we do have more detailed categories. Edit an item and you'll see it's changed. Only this is, you can categorise up to the third, but you'll have to submit and edit again to categorise on the fourth drop-down menu.

More Equipboard members should also add photos to the artists that don't have one. I tried as much as I could, but there are still thousands and thousands of artists that need their photo, or some basic info.

Photo, something anybody can do. Basic info? Nope, only mods can do it.

Why the heck, when I add the genre to artist, like rock, it says "genres removed", and then it lists just the genres I need?

I don't know, must be a system thing. As long as it shows up correct, that's all that matters for now.

And why do we still don't limit people. Some just have crappy submissions, and I understand that mods have shitloads of gear to check and correct. We don't need "my roomate was Jack White's guitar tech" submissions!

We have "Quality Ratings" now, so start using that and the ability to edit items.

Oh look, my Gear IQ will reach 20,000 soon. Well, I'm proud of myself haha.

Damn, son.

And does Equipboard have an office? I want to see the photos of how the office looks!

I want to see this too.

According to Wikipedia, Grethe is the wife. Either way, they need to be seperated.

I know about needing a separation from your wife.

So, the winter vacation just started, and I reached 20,000 gear IQ - hopefully, I somewhat helped Equipboard, but, to be honest - fuck my submissions. They can be incorrect, have a lack of notes or something like that. I'm here because this is possibly the only site that has the somewhat immediate answers, and you don't get answers in a year or two. I tried it with many sites, and they also had no sources, so, this seemed like a nice idea.

One submission that came to my mind is - why don't we interview pros? It is pretty easy to contact them if they have a web page or social media page - or even an email! I interviewed Adam Aymor from Cheap Girls and Peter Holstrom from Dandy Warhols, which are relatively unknown bands, but they have some good songs and would recommend them a listen. Oh, come on, you probably heard "Bohemian Like You" from Dandys. It's still being broadcast from every possible hipster radio station.

Oh, what's the deal with Boss OD-1 pedal that was supposed to be given away? Why don't those people respond? It is quite nice that you actually care about the members of Equipboard - but how do you manage to do something like that? And how did you add all those pros? I mean, there has to be a way, or did you do that manually? How?!

Some kind of pros, like Robert Johnson, which clearly has no evidence of playing something else except things that were aldready added to his Equipboard, should be just called quits. We can't add more than 5 submissions to him, if those 4 (or how much submissions there are) submissions are the only things he played, this should be called off and removed from "incomplete equipboards" section.

And why the fuck does not Narcist become a mod aldready? Or is he one? He is a nice guy, too patient - I can't figure how the heck does he explain the same thing to other members over and over - and it is usually about submissions.

Oh, excuse my bad language, but it is just normal to use words like "fuck" in normal conversation - or? I mean, every single forum has some kind of freedom of speech - as long as there are no any bigot assholes with their racist and homophobic talks. No hate, just the word that was popular and it will still be one. And many songs have this word in it!

Congrats man that awesome! I'm starting to feel ashamed hanging around here with my puny submission record

hopefully, I somewhat helped Equipboard,

UNDERSTATEMENT.

I'm on Winter Break too, it's pretty nice. I finally have time to focus reorder my life and figure out what I need to do and what to practise and such.

Interviews? Ask mods. I'd probably mess up anyways.

As for Robert Johnson, he's there because he has under five submissions and will continue to be there unless the admin can work up some Java magic (or whatever language it is).

I am not a mod. I'm still quite young compared to some members here and have a lot to learn. Also, I'm not that patient. I'm sure my fied with Lux is evidence, but I try my best to keep that nerve from exploding. If anything, he's right about mod's having power over it, but this is a specialised situation. Mods aren't everywhere, so that's why I made a new thread to find a mod. Jim would make a better candidate, but he doesn't submit as often.

I've noticed this amongst many forums that speech is always different. A forum for a famous horror game will have a higher spelling and grammar mistake rate as well as a lot of profanity, but it's also very tight-knit when it comes to people who can make mods (mods, not moderators). This forum is excellent when it comes to spelling and grammar albeit occasionally make mistakes or aren't English speakers entirely. Profanity is low, but it's fine.

One other case... Psuedolonewolf has created a psuedo-forum... comments really, but those guys are intellectuals. They're very focused to philosophy, personalities, etc. I envy them, but I also avoid them... no way I want to become like them. To use an oxymoron, they're very placid, yet extremely sensitive.

hopefully, I somewhat helped Equipboard,

UNDERSTATEMENT.

^ What he said.

I see you went to town on the Radial Engineering artists page after I spotted the JD7 injector for you.... EVERYONE USES THEIR SHIT, I mean EVERYONE, even a nobody like me does.... toured with a switchbone ABY for 5 years, still have it.... if I spring for an injector it will go up for sale as I do more running multiple amps at once these days than I do switching between amps like I used to. But yeah, I got on the Radial bandwagon when they were still a tiny company with handful of products and very few endorsers. They just make fantastic tools to solve stage problems we have all had to cope with. No one else is doing the utility stuff they are doing as comprehensively as they are. And they are incredibly nice people.

Okay, now. Here are more things that I found/would suggest.

1) http://equipboard.com/pros/mauricio-duran - I admire this guy for recognizing basically everything that Duran put on his Instagam profile, but his submission notes are just awful. I mean, he recognized something I wouldn't recognize in a loooooong time, but still - his notes are just not OK.

2) Why don't Equipboard aldready has its own app? I mean, it would help a lot. Not everybody has access to computers all day long, and you da real MVP if you submitted the actual submission via mobile phone now, when we don't have the actual app ready.

3) When I come to the Equipboard website, I'd find it easier if you included the articles as a special things. Not Explore > Articles. I would suggest the same for gear. It took some time to find the actual articles site. And when you get to the mobile version, I cannot find the forum page. It only works when I get on "about" site. Then I go to forum. If that can be fixed, I shall be thankful.

4) What about submissions that are wrong and can't be fixed? Like this one : http://equipboard.com/pros/noel-gallagher/cort-g200-electric-guitar. I'm sorry if I'm being boring with Noel Gallagher as an example, but still, this guy serves me big time for submission examples. He played an acoustic Cort, but I can't find the source. He never played the G200. If anyone could help, I think that was done for German "Taff" show. I've got off the point here. Those submissions need to be deleted as soon as possible!

5) Please, let us add the notes on the submissions that don't have any sources!

then I'm the man... I submit tons of stuff from the chrome app on my phone all the time... but an app would be nice to streamline postings when I'm working... or NOT working (while at work, HAHA), it takes FOREVER the way I'm doing it and its frustrating

Just a suggestion, we probably shouldn't have edit histories in the comments, too much clutter. Best to keep it in the Edit Submission page.

I tried this the other day, but there seems to be no button that says submit. I'm trying to find a way to view the page like on a normal computer, but haven't yet.

Another thing, I suggest that we be able to edit a band page, it's annoying to see no picture and odd genres.

This just happened to a whole bunch of submissions I had to rectify:

http://equipboard.com/pros/josh-klinghoffer/fender-1966-stratocaster-electric-guitar-duplicate?src=email

It's so much the fact that he is purposely changing an obviously incorrect submission to correct, but the fact that he doesn't even bother to reply. In my eyes, anyone who can make a rational case defense of a position is a well-respected individual in my eyes.

But Simon? No, he's an asshole until he speaks, and this is pretty much trolling.

Edit: Wow, wasn't expecting that to be honest, thanks guys. Now, we wait for a reply (if there is anyways).

Ypu know what I just realised? We still have the "Pending Submissions" tab, but no one has bothered to remove it. It's obsolete, there are no existent submissions that are pending.

I guess it should be already on your plans but I didn't read about it and I think it would be basic and amazing at the same time to have fields for specific technical information beneath each category, and then being able to filter results in the explore section according to these specs (let's say that amplifier combos could have a checkbox to state if it has or not an fx loop, a field to specify its power –watts–, a field to specify number of speakers, etc.).
