IDEA: a tool that can allow users to link their signal flow between their gear (somethink similar to what guitargeek does).

cool, but some of my gear doesn't ever connect LOL, like sometimes synths go into guitar amps, but not usually into guitar stomp boxes... I seldom use rack processors for guitar these days.... mine would be a mess!

Hope everyone is having a good Friday. I just wanted to update you on a new feature.

You can now edit the bands/groups associated with an artist by clicking "Edit Artist Details."

A few notes:

  • Editing bands requires 300 Gear IQ.

  • Before you go on an all night bender celebrating this new feature, currently you can only add bands already on Equipboard. Next, we will work on an efficient way to add bands, so that is coming soon!

Thanks, everyone!

300 gear IQ hahaha

FUCK. YES.

By the way, I suggest you guys check te artists you follow to see which ones you've submitted to that aren't part of a band. But YES! Great job on Michael and anyone else helping out!

How about create a band section?

Alright, so far, I see that our database for bands is extremely limited. Figures... Well, it's a step forward.

Alright... Time for Ghost B.C. overhaul. Delete the following, please:

I'll have to get proper names for those ghouls, add them in later, and hopefully it will look pretty good.

Deleted.

Here's the item proof you put for Fire. Just wanted you to have a record of it since it got deleted with the artist profile.

Gibson RD Standard Exclusive Electric Guitar Fire, the dreaded lead guitarist and Nameless Ghoul of Ghost, has been known to play Gibson guitars over the years, He has been spotted with Gibson SG's along with his mate, Aether, the rhythm guitarist of Ghost.

In this interview, both Fire and Aether discuss their uses of the Gibson RD series guitars. The most appealing aspect about the guitar is the shape, which they describe as a hybrid of the Explorer and Firebird shapes.

Fire's guitar comes in white, features his symbol on the pickguard, and has a pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers with a split-coil switch.

Fantastic! Luckily, I had moved all that some time ago on the newer Ghost page. So now, once I get to it, i'll create new pages for each of the members in the band. I'm pretty sure it'll just be something along the lines of "Nameless Ghoul (Fire)" or just "Fire Ghoul". Also, I'm not sure whether to put "Papa Emeritus" and just explain which one used what in the notes, or separate all three Papas.

I think this calls for a scumbag michael meme... 😆

Mobile app should be heavily considerable. Because it would be so much easier to do something on Equipboard than just typing on forums. You can't add gear and you can't even add new new gear on Equipboard. It makes things very hard to do here.

Anyway, what's with the brands section? I see only Boss, MXR and a very few others getting the brands website. Why don't we do all of them and give the "add to brand" section? You can also put alphabetical sort option and so on. It seems like this has been pretty much unfinished.

Artists where it is known that they haven't used more than 5 pieces of gear (like Robert Johnson) should be moved away from incomplete Equipboards section. Other than Gibson L1 and Kalamazoo guitar, he hasn't used any stated particular model. And please, for some artists it is nearly impossible to find gear. Or even photo of them. It makes things really hard to do.

There is Adam Aymor's Equipboard just sitting there, waiting for pedalboard photo to be posted. I sent those photos to Jason (who is Jason here hahaha) and those photos haven't been put on.

And yeah, the submission notes warnings don't work. People only post 2 or 3 words per each submission they make. They can do so much here, and they put the video of artists using the gear and talking about it, but yet they just wrote like 2 or 3 words there. Maybe se should put restrictions, just like we do on the reviews. Let's see if it would work.

wait, I thought he was a generous god?
