Once again... Yeah, thank you, I want to say hello to all board members, I'm DJ Duke from Vienna, play tech house, melodic techno, learn the piano and produce a few intros. I started working as a professional at the age of 16 and was the youngest and most famous DJ from Austria. I love to mix music, analyze it and see how the audience reacts.

Wow, these threads grow cold fast. Regardless, I haven't introduced myself to a community spontaneously in a long time.

I'm Andrew. 31 years old. I've just recently moved to Buffalo, NY. Worked for Guitar Center for about 3.5 years now. I know slightly more than minimal amount about ... well, everything, to be honest. Did some recording of vocals and instruments, used some DAWs, played some guitars and a bass, a couple of keyboards and synths, and a real acoustic drum kit. Right now I have an SM58, an AKG P420, a Williams Legato that I use for practice and as a MIDI controller, a UA Volt2, a Rogue RD80 (yup, cheap gear, I know!), and a double-neck frankenstein made with a Squier Affinity P-bass neck and a Squier Affinity strat neck (I'm assuming both are made of maple and the body is made of basswood).

Just noticed that The Nation of Ulysses are not in Equipboard database, and if you have Wipers, you should have The Nation of Ulysses.

I'm glad this forum is pinned. My name is Garrett, I'm 25 y/o recent graduate of Cal. State Uni. Northridge for Cinema and Television. I play music and gigs for fun, and since space is tight in So-Cal, I share a lockout studio with 3 other friends in town. I play guitar, mostly, like to sing, and recently have been practicing drum kit.

If I had the chance, I would LOVE to own an accordion. I just think they're so neat.

Outside of music, I'm a producer in the live entertainment industry, currently working on interactive AR/VR products. I play a ton of video games, love to backpack, and try to longboard as often as I can.

I got into music when I was little, taking piano lessons, joining school bands, jazz bands, marching bands, and eventually choirs, and now try to keep music in my life amateurishly as much as possible.

My favorite genre of music is Midwest Emo and its variations (indie-rock, alt-rock, so on). I'm also more casually into uptempo Jazz, indie bedroom pop, and funk.

My top five favorite albums are currently Small Steps, Heavy Hooves (Dear and the Headlights), When We Were Friends (The Backseat Lovers), Telephone (The Districts), Best Buds (Mom Jeans.), and Somewhere City (Origami Angel).

Been around for a bit now, but may as well pop something in here.

Name's Jamie MacDonald. I'm from Nova Scotia and play both guitar and bass. I've been somewhat slack the past couple of years with music stuff, but I started getting back into it again this spring and finally got a proper rig again. I've played Death Metal/Grindcore/Sludge Metal, Hardcore/Metalcore, and Post-Hardcore/Punk. Listen to tons of stuff outside of that (hip-hop, classic rock, other forms of heavy music, celtic folk), but that's mainly what I like to play.

A couple selections of recordings:

Current solo project - "Feral Hog" (Sludge/Punk/Noise Rock)

Current solo project - "Scentless Apprentice (instrumental Nirvana cover)" (Sludge/Punk/Noise Rock)

Sierra Falls (Bass/backing vocals) - "When Bears Attack!" (Post-Hardcore)

Black Anchor (lead vocals) - "Kerosene Dreams" jam demo (Hardcore)

Hello everyone! My name is Antoine, I'm 28 and live in France.

I play guitar (classical and electric) and bass as a hobby and also a bit of electronic music with computers. I'm passionate about all kinds of music and also really like paintings, cinema, photography and books.

I've been browsing this website for a long time and learned a lot about music equipment through it. It has now become a habit of mine to check the equipboard page each time I discover a new band or artist.

I just started contributing today, I'll try to be as thorough as possible with sources, and probably stick to effect pedals and synths for now, since guitars and amps seem to be a bit tricky with a lot of reissues have the same aspect. Hope I don't make any mistakes :)

Cheers!

What part of France?

Hi guys. You can call me Scotch.. I'm 29-years-old. I live in KY, USA. I play a pretty general pop/rock, but have been influenced heavily by lots of things from black and doom metal to Bulgarian and Andean folk to 90s rap/hip-hop to funk to punk rock to old school country and bluegrass and gospel to Baroque/Classical/Romantic period stuff to video game music. So I like music lol Anyway, thought I'd join because I also have a love of gear--I would love to make my own someday; just now learning what it is that makes the things do things under the hood of my effect pedals and amplifiers and such. Working on either an EP or full-length LP, depends on whether I like my songs enough I guess.. Might do more, but I wanna just enjoy my time. Anyway you guys seem cool! Glad to be here. Thanks.

hello, middle-aged lover of metal and guitar going back to the early 1980s. I have many interests, but music is a big one (isn't that the case for all of us here?) Anyway, great site to confirm/clarify what equipment our heroes are using. I'm a solo specialist physician and no one wants to play the soothing tones of Slayer with me, so I just grab my guitar between patients. ps--I just used some photos that were on my phone of gear before I realized people take NICE pics. Maybe I'll take some real pics without the mess and clutter. Nice to meet you all.

Well, don't mind if I do. I'm Francis, I'm a 16-year old autistic (very low severity) male who lives in brazil. I found this website by accident and I've been engaged ever since. I have a very ecletic taste of music, but recently I've been more into alternative and indie rock, alongside it's subgenres. I don't have much gear, but what I lack in quantity makes up for... Yeah, nevermind. My equipment is very cheap, but my guitars are mostly good, for what's worth it.
