rychcorporhate's Music Gear Setup
2004 Fender Stratocaster, Rosewood Fingerboard, Black with White 3-Ply Pickguard, Black Seymour Duncan Hotrail pickup in the Bridge, Black Gorilla Duct Tape on the Bottom holding the Bottom Strap Pin in the guitar, Turquoise Duct Tape holding "Tone" knob onto guitar. Fat Head Strap Pins. And it's Road-Worn with tons of Chips, Dents and Cracks.
Soon it's going to be more Modified by removing the Seymour Duncan Hotrail pickup, Cut Pickguard and Rout it for a Humbucker and Add a Black Seymour Duncan JB Humbucker, a Thin Chrome/Nickel Ibanez Pickup Ring, and remove the Fender Stratocaster Bridge and add a Gibson Style Gotoh Tune-o-Matic Bridge and Stop-Tailpiece.

dont change the bridge the scale will be weird and it wont intonate i know kurt cobain did that for one of his guitars but theres a reason it was the one that got smashed when they recorded nevermind, it played like shit
Actually that one Stratocaster was Smashed during Nevermind before it had the Modifications done to it, at that point the only thing that was done was the pickguard was cut and a black Humbucker was added, which Kurt used during the March-April Shows, (Along with his White Japanese Stratocaster with the Black Slanted Humbucker and the "K" Records sticker). Both Stratocasters had the same black Humbucker, and it was used after Nevermind as when it was Smashed during the recording of "Endless, Nameless" Kurt basically only broke the neck off... And in June and August Kurt basically used his Brand New 1991 MiJ Stratocaster with Black Pickguard, Black Humbucker, and Black Control Knobs (which this became the "Vandalism" Stratocaster) but the Stratocaster that was Smashed at the Nevermind Sessions had a New Fender Neck Added, a Thin Chrome or Nickel Humbucker ring Under the Humbucker and then the Bridge was replaced with a Gibson Tune-o-Matic Bridge & Stop-Tailpiece.
I mean right now my Strat already doesn't intonate idk if I broke the Truss Rod from years of throwing it around, or if Its just loose, and needs to be tighten, I really don't know. And the G, B, E Strings never stay in tune, and the tuners feel to loose and then I tighten then and then they don't work, so most Likely I'll be needing a new set of tuners on it, I think I'm going for the vintage Gotoh tuners like the old Fejigen factory used to use on their Japanese Fender Stratocasters But also too I kind of want to get rid of the Seymour Duncan Hotrail pickup (though I like it) I just feel like everyone and their mothers have Stratocasters with Seymour Duncan Hotrail pickups in them... And I feel so generic so I wanted to copy Kurts Tune-o-Matic Stratocaster (which was used on 08/15/91 The Roxy Club, Los Angeles, CA) 2 days before the Smells Like Teen Spirit Video Shoot... And it was used on the American Nevermind Tour From 09/20/91 - 10/11/91 (I can't remember when Kurt stopped using the Tune-o-Matic Stratocaster and started using the Vandalism Stratocaster again.... But Anyway, as my Stratocaster already has all these Chips, Dents, Cracks whatever all over it I'd make it the Tune-o-Matic Stratocaster replica as my Strat and Kurt's Strat actually has the same Chips in the same spot on top of the butt end of the Strat, so it would look good like that...
And my Univox Hi-Flier is my Main guitar anyways, it just needs to be fixed as the original Gotoh Tune-o-Matic Bridge broke and this shitty All Parts Tune-o-Matic Bridge I'm using in the mean time keeps making the bridge uneven and the G, B, E Strings rattle and vibrate and don't stay in tune.
itll still suck with a tune o matic trust me, ive done it before mine met the same fate as kurts
