Good to see someone with a solid musical education on here. Great setup! I can't make out what's on the second/vertical monitor. What view is that screen optimized for?
pkennethk|13781Hi. The view on the second monitor is optomised so that I can see more of the instruments and where they align without having to scroll down. The software (Sibelius), allows you to add another window and this can be just dragged to the right and it appears on the other screen. What is cool is that you can Ctrl & +/- the windows independently without affecting the other view's zoom level.
@Paul_smith18 noticed you've got a voclea kit too. I've been curious about those. are you finding it accurate enough to auto-transcribe hummed melodies?
pkennethk It's supposed to arrive tomorrow. I'll keep you posted. I asked them on Facebook about the accuracy of pitch input and they replied 'Hi there!... The pitch recognition is pretty accurate - it's essentially what we've spent a lot of time and energy trying to get right.'
I Watched one of their demo videos. There were a couple of tiny ghost notes created over about 4 bars but they were deletable.
@Paul_smith18 Keep us posted. I'm definitely curious. Only a few extra notes would be a huge improvement over most other pitch-2-midi options out there.
