Dug this outta the gear closet last night to treat a synth lead but it gave out on me... I'm hoping it's just under tensioned, dirty jacks. It was making a very cool awful splatty echo focused all on like 3k! It distorts great too... and has short enough delay to do ma mk dual tape flange by turning the speed knob. It doesn't exactly sound good but it's pretty neat.

That's an interesting echo - I hadn't seen one before. Apparently it uses magnetic discs instead of tape? Very cool!
I found a schematic and yeah it's a magnetic disc surrounded by a pile of shitty Japan radio Corp 4558 ICs which have like NO headroom or band width. It's a pretty cool distortion unit with the play heads not working right now...
