Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitars
Gretsch G2420T Streamliner Single Cutaway Hollow Body with Bigsby
Avg price: $489.00
Great tone for clean tones
A nice guitar for a reasonable price that can as well offer you a great bass tone that gives presence on each note. with the rhight configuration its also a versatile guitar that can do much more than classic swing jazz sound. The G2420t pick ups, the Broad Tron, definitly defines his modern sound. The finishes are just fine and preserve the Gretsch's reputation as well. The only thing I'd observe are the quality of the bridge and the machine heads that doesn't work properly while using the Bigsby.
Ibanez TS808DX Tube Screamer w/Booster
Avg price: $257.74
Excelent and versatile Phaser pedal!
Great pedal, it offers many possibilities of use that go beyond the classic three knobs. Its manual mode multiplies its usefulness as a phase pedal, managing to assimilate it to a whami at times or a vibrato as well.
Even so, I notice that its sound lacks a bit of depth when you use it in the effects chain, and it loses tone considerably. You need to use a booster.
Avg price: $163.50
Great Analog delay Sound
The delay' Seymour Duncan delay is defenitly on top of his class. If you are looking for that coloration and saturation that warms up not only your repets but the entarly tone this is it. I often use the Vapor Trail with the mix all the way down in order to boost the signal with a little push on the high end. This also can be troubly if you do not want that little boost. The modulation pich section works very nice and the possibility to use the effect send and retourn, or just the expretion way out, allows you to experimentation with new ways to use a delay pedal.
