Great tone for clean tones

A nice guitar for a reasonable price that can as well offer you a great bass tone that gives presence on each note. with the rhight configuration its also a versatile guitar that can do much more than classic swing jazz sound. The G2420t pick ups, the Broad Tron, definitly defines his modern sound. The finishes are just fine and preserve the Gretsch's reputation as well. The only thing I'd observe are the quality of the bridge and the machine heads that doesn't work properly while using the Bigsby.

Subtle is not how this guitar appears.

Fantastic hoolowbody with a lovely mellow tone. I was trying to get a guitar for jazz stuff but then my eyes caught this. It can do jazz but it's not subtle in the looks department. Size wise it requires an acoustic guitar size case to fit it in. Only gripe I have with it is the tuners are not the greatest, but at this price you can always look at upgrading them.

I picked this guitar up brand new a couple months ago. I had never owned a Gretsch or a hollow/semi hollow body before this. I could not be happier with the guitar and I am looking forward to another one. This model has the broadtron pick-ups which work great for me.
