Solid Body Electric Guitars

Ten out of ten!

I got this guitar as a Christmas gift last year in 2024, and I've had it for 4 months now, and so far so good! It's extremely good for its price point, and it plays and sounds as good as a $750 guitar. The bird inlays have gotten me so many compliments, it's crazy... The humbuckers have great tone for dirty and crunch tone, but the bridge humbucker is not so great for clean tones. The coil split works for anything, such as Stratocaster tones that I wouldn't be able to achieve since I don't have one (If I don't get one for my birthday, I will actually cry). The middle position is great for rhythm and lead tones both clean and distorted. The neck is extremely comfortable to play on and it may even make me a better guitarist. I don't find myself using the given whammy bar much unless I'm playing some Kirk Hammett or something of the like. One other thing I love about this is the coil split button itself not just the functionality. I have ADHD and often use the button as a fidget (I'm being serious its great).

Preferred Settings + Usage:

I usally run this through a tube screamer for great distortion tones and sometimes one of my chorus pedals

Solid Body Electric Guitars

Kinda mid

I got this guitar for my birthday this year, and I love it! But I also hate it. I'll just list pros and cons.

Pros: Great tone and good quality single coil pickups Cool colors!!! :0 Pickup selectors feel vintage and accurate Very responsive tuners, unlike other guitars I have Cough cough the free first act i have in my closet cough cough

Cons: The neck and fretboard are kinda uncomfortable, this isn't a problem for me much THE WHAMMY BAR FALLS OUT EVERY TWO FRICKING SECONDS Wayyyy too heavy The bridge pickup has too much bass tone (I know thats what It's for, but it's too much)

Electric Guitar Pickups

Seymour Duncan Hot Rails

Avg price: $100.00

Great humbucker! (or single coil, idk)

I've had this pickup for about 2 weeks now, and It's pretty great! It's very high output, and has a very thick sound. Works well for most styles of playing, but it does get a bit muddy depending on how you use it. If you know how to use it right, it works very well. The only reason I am deducting a star is because it is not perfect, but it gets the job done very well.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

I have this pickup in my 70's style Jaguar, with Ernie Ball Super Slinky Strings. I usually run it through my Boss GX-10 with a Marshall Plexi style sim, with a DS-1, and an Eros Clean Chorus pedal.
