kleimermartins's Metal Pedalboard
Pedalboard Setup – Clonewheel Organ & Stage Piano Rig Built for tone, expression, and versatility in live performance
This is my current pedalboard configuration, designed to bridge two essential musical roles in my setup:
Authentic Hammond Organ Emulation – My goal is to make the clonewheel organ sound as close as possible to a genuine tonewheel Hammond with a Leslie speaker, using pedals that simulate rotary cabinets, analog overdrive, and dynamic response.
Enhanced Effects Chain for Stage Pianos – I also use this board to enrich the sounds of my Stage Vintage Piano (both acoustic and electric presets), going beyond factory effects with a higher-quality and more flexible external chain.
🎛️ Gear List & Signal Chain:
Landscape ISO Power 7 An isolated power supply that ensures clean, quiet, and stable power across all pedals. Essential for avoiding ground loops and noise in live setups.
TC Electronic Flashback Delay A versatile digital delay with multiple modes, used for rhythmic organ repeats and ambient tails on piano patches.
TC Electronic Hall of Fame Reverb Lush reverb with TonePrint support, ideal for adding depth and atmosphere to electric and acoustic piano sounds.
Lounsberry Tall & Fat Analog boost/preamp designed specifically for keyboards. It fattens the tone and adds harmonic warmth — perfect for cutting through a live mix.
Lounsberry Organ Grinder Overdrive Tailored for organ use, this analog overdrive emulates the breakup of tube preamps found in vintage Hammond rigs. Adds grit without muddying the tone.
Neo Instruments Mini Vent II The heart of the organ chain. A premium rotary speaker simulator that reproduces the classic Leslie 122 sound with impressive realism, stereo imaging, and speed control.
Zoom MS-70CDR A compact multi-effects unit offering chorus, delay, and reverb algorithms. I use it mainly to shape electric piano tones and as a backup for other modulations.
Hammond Expression Pedal EX50J Used to control organ volume dynamically — emulating the feel of a traditional swell pedal.
Korg Sustain Pedal Connected to the stage piano, offering standard sustain functionality for acoustic and electric piano sounds.
Landscape SB300 Pedalboard A solid and well-organized board that keeps everything neatly mounted and road-ready.
