gsplcu's Evans Drum Kit
Mapex Armory Studioease Shell Pack AR628SUM (Ultramarine) + Evans Hydraulic Blue drumheads on rack toms and floor toms.
The Hydraulic Blue drumheads (10", 12", 14" and 16") are the best drumheads I've tried so far. I wanted to get a 70s/80s rock sound out of my toms and these have given me the best result. Suited for rock and metal.
On the snare drum, I use a Evans G2 Coated drumhead or (not shown in this picture) a Evans Heavyweight drumhead with a plastic patch in the middle that improves attack and durability.

Best sounding semi-professional drum set
The shell pack comes with two rack toms (10×8 and 12×9), two floor toms (14×14 and 16×16) and the Mapex Tomahawk snare drum (14×5,5). The tom holders are included (TH800).
The drums are relatively easy to mount and tune and they look amazing! They come with Remo UT drumheads and, if changed, they sound even better. I was new to the Mapex world but this drum set really deserves a chance. I believe it is the best looking and sounding semi-professional drum set that you can get without spending a lot of money.
