what's your take on the TD-3... worthy replacement to the real thing?
I've only used the real thing once back in 1993, the studio I recorded at had one lying around in the cupboard so I used it on a track called "Real" which I ended up pressing. I had a TD 3 and I prefer the Behringer one to that. As you're probably aware it programs the same way the 303 does which helps with random patterns you accidentally make, if you know what I mean. Plus at £120 it's a no brainer.
Funny story - Before the Acid House explosion there was one for sale in our local music shop for £35, none of us knew what it was at the time, Also the sales assistant said "That things rubbish ,you don't want to buy that"
I meant to say TB 3(not td3)
