First monitors I got. Did a lot of research and decided to go with these, was not disappointed, sound doesn't sound very colored from what I can tell.
very cool, a bit hard to learn additive for a bit
Wanted to get one subtractive synth to learn synthesis with and stay on primarily. after many discussions, decided on serum over sylenth
one of the few daws out there that was built right for the live performance
girl talk, four tet, trent reznor
i dont use it as much any more but glad i did use it for a time
i got this thinking it could replace my trigger finger in a more compact version, but without the velocity locking, it couldn't do what i wanted. i almost never use it, though i got it for very cheap
i kept running into venues that were designed for rock bands that couldn't take RCA from my NI DJ 2, so it was time to get a real interface and this was the choice. i wanted to free up my usb ports and found a super cheap deal off ebay.
I liked that Skrillex and TEED recommended it
sister got this for me for xmas along with a m-audio trigger finger for $70 off craigslist
wanted a mpc type controller. sister got this for me for xmas along with a m-audio keyboard 49 for $70 off craigslist
for a long time i was borrowing friends soundcards / mixers, but when it was time to finally get my own, i was about to head to argentina for study abroad, and had limited space in my bags, so after seeing its potential (ala skrillex) i decided to go with it and used it with both ableton and audiomulch
was very glad i decided to get it as i was actually able to land my first big gig while i was there.
the automaps function allowed me to use it with Audiomulch and ive loved it ever since. i eventually used ableton, but this was my first midi controller and im very glad i used it
