AudioMulch 2.0

soundonsound.com

AudioMulch 2.0 is a versatile and user-friendly modular audio software that excels in creative sound design for both Mac and PC users. Its intuitive interface and innovative features like the Metasurface allow for unique audio processing and composition experiences. The software supports VST plugins and offers an array of intriguing sound manipulation tools. However, it falls short in areas like audio multitracking and MIDI sequencing, and lacks integration with other DAWs. Despite these drawbacks, its focus on modular synthesis and automation makes it a powerful tool for experimental musicians seeking a fresh approach.

In this article Keiran says, "I really like Audiomulch, it's one on my favourite bits of software. It's so stripped-down, and you can really abuse it. Reason just makes trance music, and you're not really allowed to piss around with it too much and everything's got this horrible reverbed sound, and I kind of hate it — Audiomulch is my preferred version of that idea(...)"
