Critic Reviews

M-Audio Trigger Finger

soundonsound.com

The M-Audio Trigger Finger is a versatile MIDI controller that shines with its velocity-sensitive pads and extensive programmability, making it more than just a drum pad. The included Enigma software enhances usability, allowing for easy programming, while its robust build ensures durability. However, onboard memory is limited, and programming without the software can be cumbersome. Despite these minor drawbacks, the Trigger Finger is a valuable addition to any MIDI studio, offering creative possibilities at a good price.

The M-Audio Trigger Finger MIDI Controller shines with its robust build and versatile features, making it a standout for musicians who dislike traditional MIDI keyboards. Its 16 velocity-sensitive pads and customizable faders and knobs offer impressive control, supported by a sturdy metal plate for durability. While the lack of printed documentation and intuitive setup may frustrate some users, downloadable resources and the Enigma software editor provide necessary support. Despite minor drawbacks, its affordability and unique capabilities make it a valuable addition to any setup.

Neat drum pads.

Nice midi controller for finger drumming and control changes. I bought this because I was looking for a cheap drum pad controller and I know that Skrillex used to use this in his live setups.

Software challenges hinder initial use

I bought this and am still learning how to program it. The software is annoying, so it's a barrier to entry. So far it's just waiting to be used...

Pretty good

Very good for on the go and tabletop producing. If you need a cheap but still high quality pad controller than I would suggest this one.
