nice tone

very new .. still fiddling with it.. I will update

dependable..

Even though this pedal is for electric guitar I use it with my bass. I wish I could darken the tone a bit for bass. I usually kick the bass and lower the treble on the bass to get a fatter tone.. Had it for 15 years... very well build.. no problems at all.. big footprint though.. may switch to all in one pedals wah/volume if good one comes in my way..

nice tracking

good wonderfully tracking octave.. I am not sure if I keep it.. something about the sound that I could not fall in love with.. don't know what though..

hakan

work horse

Many knobs on it but I keep it at 1 and mainly flat.. good envelope filter.. work horse.. had it for 10 years.. never fails.. but may be to be retired as it is the only digital pedal left on my board..

a journey really..

nice wonderful analog piece of equipment. need masters degree in electronics which I don't have so my learning curve is well taking long. Cant use it in every song but maaan you can get sounds from this you will never get out of anything else.. still learning to use it... your music needs to be intended for moog I suppose if you want to use it a lot..

either you love it or you hate it

Good to have tempo and drum beats in it. Sound is how should I say.. too electronic for my taste. After switching to analog, it is sitting in the drawer.
One big plus is the XLR our.. direct to the PA....

nice but heavy

Pedal boards need to start using composite materials..

hakan

wonderful wonderful

Best distortion you can get ... at least best distortion I have ever used :)
Knobs need getting used to. Can be used as a boost.. The tone is amazing just amazing..

G&L JB1 review

Lovely bass, wonderful Jazz tone. Gets lost in the mix when playing rock but always know the tone you are getting, neck needs frequent adjustments, other than that wonderful bass.

Bongo with single humbucker

used with for 2 years, never set in with me. Bass wood is too soft, dings easily, cant keep it on your lap due to funky design. Good fingerboard, too bright eq for my taste. Almost always kept the tone as dark as possible. Hanging on the wall pretty much...

Zon Sonus Customs 5 - Top of the top

Swamp Ash Body with Wenge Tone Plate topped with Exhibition Grade Myrtle Wood Top and of course composite neck. Bartoloni Preamp and pickups, single/dual and active/passive push pull, 3 band eq with mid boost or cut and hipshot detuner on E. Best bass I have ever played. Such high end workmanship, perfect feel fingerboard, very versatile electronics, cuts through the mix like butter. Incredible bass....

Litle Darker Tone than I would like, gets you lost in the mix

I have used this preamp mainly with my G&L JB1 in order to get some treble that I could not get on the Jazz Bass.
It darkens the tone a great deal. But can use it as a boost which worked well. Gets you lost in the mix. Not very useful with active basses in my opion.
